Our objective is to broaden and enrich the secondary school
curriculum of high schools in a designated area by including technical,
career, and industrial education programs that cannot be provided in the
local school district. We provide training programs for students who
wish to use their acquired skills and knowledge for entry into the labor
market immediately upon graduation, or to enhance the education of
those students choosing to pursue a post-secondary education. The
Northeast Arkansas Career and technical Center offers 11 programs of
study that are available to students from schools in the Northeast
Arkansas area. Currently, we are serving 13 school districts, with a
total average enrolment of 500 students.
NEACTC offers concurrent credit enrollment with Arkansas
State University - Newport in the following programs:
Advertising & Graphic Design, Auto Collision, Auto Service, Culinary
Arts, Drafting & Design, Electronics, Horticulture,
Internship, Precision Manufacturing & Machining, and HVACR.
